My Favourite Writer

Jane Austen (16 December 1775 – 18 July 1817) was an English novelist whose realism, biting social commentary and masterful use of free indirect speech, burlesque, and irony have earned her a place as one of the most widely read and most beloved writers in English literature. She was educated by her brother and father due to the lack of education availability at that time.
She managed to published several genre novels and one of my favourite was Sense and Sensibility. It was actually my first novel to begin with after a few recommendations from my friend stating that the novel was suitable and quite interesting.
As i began my pleasure reading, i found out the introduction and the words that have been used are classical for example 'thou', thee etc. Due to that matter it brings out the excitement in me to read more and explore the novel deeper. Along the process of reading, the emotions of the each character were perfectly portrayed according to writer intentions. It was as if the character were alive and breathing in the sense of imagination.
It was truly remarkable, it amazes me each time i read the novel the sensation of passion, enthusiasm, love and cruelty can be felt inside of me. I was overwhelmed by the novel as i had not been a good reader before and never was, but how these novel intrigues me kept me wonder about her wide imaginations in describing persona, views etc into a text was just awesome.

Last Weekend

Last weekend was such a frustration to me as i had to go to UNITAR to submit my PTPTN application. I woke up around 7 a.m in the morning just to prepare myself before leaving for UNITAR. The traffiic was as usual jammed all the way to One Utama, but still it didnt bother me as it happens everyday and i saw it coming. As soon as i arrived at UNITAR, there were a lot of people waiting in the hall to submit the documents. Sadly the PTPTN staff came in quite late and most of the students there were too eager to submit their documents as soon as possible, so there was a bit of commotion for a while. I sat patiently and listen to my walkman music waiting for my turn to come.Once the PTPTN staff came in and started to examining documents there were some of the students had sour faces on them after the PTPTN staff rejected their application based on few errors that they had done in their application. It came to my mind why cant they send more staff to accommodate us, it has been hours without telling when my turn will be. Tension arises among the students and even some of them rush blindly in front of the counter and started to line up although we were told to sit on our chair. I was disappointed with the way UNITAR handles the matter as it was not professional and efficient. I have applied for PTPTN before back when i was in UITM Melaka and they had two to three thousands applicants but still they manage to organise the process to be fast and efficient without any delay. So it is not impossible for UNITAR to do the same as any other collges have done when submitting their loans. After waited for almost seven hours in the hall, then only my turn came. The PTPTN staff were rude and did not show any profesionalism in their duty. Just for the sake of getting the application accepted, i endured my anger and dissatisfaction. I hope in the future i wouldnt have to go through that again as i think it was a waste of time as i could have done something better and more productive.

Intro Poem

My name is Qal,
My life is full of lies,
In the world of demise,

My name is Qal,
I am very quiet and shy guy,
yet still i'm a friendly guy
